Dispute Policy

Effective Date: 1 January 2026

Company: SolarBazaar (Operated by MAKSOF Technologies, Ground Floor, Plot # LS16, Sector 5E Orangi Town, Karachi, Karachi West, Orangi Town.)

1. Marketplace Role

SolarBazaar operates purely as an online marketplace platform connecting customers with independent solar installation vendors across Pakistan. We are not a party to any agreement, transaction, installation, or service performed between a customer and a vendor.

2. No Liability for Installation Issues

All solar installations, products supplied, quotations, pricing, service warranties, and after-sales support are directly between the customer and the vendor. SolarBazaar is not liable or admissible for:

  • Defects, delays, damages, or failures in solar system installation.
  • Quality of equipment (panels, inverters, batteries, wiring) supplied by vendors.
  • Disputes regarding payments, quotations, or scope of work.
  • Post-installation issues, maintenance failures, or warranty claims.
  • Any injury, loss, damage, or consequential harm arising from the installation or use of a solar system.

  • 3. Vendor Verification

SolarBazaar makes reasonable efforts to verify vendor identity through document checks and business registration. However, verification does not guarantee the quality, reliability, or performance of any vendor. Customers are responsible for independently evaluating vendors before engaging them.

    4. Customer-Vendor Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a customer and a vendor:

  • Customers should first contact the vendor directly using the contact details exchanged during the quotation or installation process.
  • SolarBazaar encourages parties to resolve disputes amicably and in good faith.
  • If resolution fails, customers may pursue remedies through applicable consumer protection laws, civil courts, or relevant regulatory authorities in Pakistan.

  • 5. Sharing Vendor Identity for Legal Complaints

SolarBazaar will share a vendor's identity and registered business details with a customer only in the following circumstances:

  • The customer files a formal legal complaint (FIR, consumer court case, or similar legal proceeding) against the vendor.
  • The customer submits verifiable proof of the filed complaint (court stamp, FIR number, legal notice, etc.) to support@solarbazaar.io.
  • Legal authorities issue a valid legal order or summons requiring us to disclose information.

  • Without such legal proceedings, SolarBazaar will not share vendor identity details with third parties.

    6. Customer Protection Program

For customers who completed a project but are facing unresolved issues with their vendor, SolarBazaar offers a Customer Protection Program that facilitates communication between parties. See our Customer Protection Program policy for details.

    7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SolarBazaar's liability is limited to the marketplace listing fees paid by the vendor in the 12 months preceding the dispute.
  • SolarBazaar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
  • Customers agree that their sole remedy for any dispute lies with the vendor, not with SolarBazaar.

  • 8. Indemnification

By using SolarBazaar, both customers and vendors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SolarBazaar, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Any installation, service, or transaction between them.
  • Violation of these terms.
  • Violation of any applicable law.

  • 9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes against SolarBazaar (limited to its role as a marketplace) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
