Freyr Energy has introduced a fresh portfolio of single-phase photovoltaic inverters targeted at residential rooftop setups across India. Built in 3 kW and 5 kW models, the hardware incorporates silicon carbide components alongside digital oversight tools.
Engineering for the devices was handled by Freyr Energy, while production is managed by Zenergize, a firm specializing in electric vehicle charging infrastructure and green energy manufacturing. The on-grid units transform direct current generated by solar panels into a 230-volt single-phase alternating current output.
The company reports a peak conversion efficiency rate of 97.8 percent, designed to help residents optimize power yields, enhance overall system functionality, and minimize energy loss. Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities allow users to track operational metrics live via the Freyr Energy Solar App.
Additional hardware specifications feature IP65 ingress protection, safety systems guarding against short circuits, overloads, thermal spikes, and lightning-induced surges. The equipment also carries Bureau of Indian Standards certification, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy approval, a 10-year warranty, and a dust-resistant build utilizing self-cleaning capabilities to lower upkeep needs.
