Overview

The Sunny Home Manager is the ideal solution for simple plant monitoring and intelligent energy management. It provides remote monitoring via the SMA Sunny Portal and an overview of all the energy flows taking place in the household. It also displays recommended actions and is able to control various smart home appliances. The device learns the typical consumption pattern of the household and combines this information using a weather forecast prediction of the PV generation. As a result, the Sunny Home Manager enables a much higher proportion of generated electricity to be consumed on site and a highly efficient use of energy. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 includes an integrated Energy Meter to monitor the property's import/export. Current Transformer clamps can be used to simplify installation and are required for systems where the main AC supply exceeds 63A per phase. Installation note: All routers, switches and network components must support Multicast and the IGMP protocol, minimum version 3 (IGMPv3). Additionally IGMP snooping must be disabled, see manual for more information.
