Overview
The three-phase Fronius Eco in power categories 25.0 and 27.0 kW perfectly meets all the requirements of large-scale installations. Single MPPT for maximum efficiency. Thanks to its light weight and SnapINverter mounting system, this transformerless device can be installed quickly and easily either indoors or outdoors. This inverter series sets new standards with its IP 66 protection class. In addition, its integrated all-pole string fuse holders and optional DC fuse mean that string combiner boxes are no longer required. Simple data monitoring using an integrated WLAN interface. The inverter connects wirelessly and allows the user to monitor how the solar PV system is performing via the Fronius SolarWeb using an internet-ready device (Not included with Light models). One MPPT Built-in display Warranty Option 1 - 2-year Fronius Warranty Plus + 3-year Fronius Warranty Plus upon registration Option 2 - 2-year Fronius Warranty Plus + 5-year Fronius Warranty upon registration Fronius Warranty - The Fronius Warranty offers warranty protection for the material over the entire service life. Fronius Warranty Plus - The Fronius Warranty Plus covers the material, servicing, and transport costs. Warranty extensions available up to 20 years

How to read this datasheet
Fronius Eco Inverters is listed with 10 published specifications from Fronius, including MPN of 4,210,056,040, power rating of 25000W, MPPT trackers of 1 and phases of Three phase. Those figures are what decide whether this unit fits your system, so read them against the equipment it will connect to before comparing price.
For an inverter, the figures that matter most are maximum PV input and the number of MPPT trackers, which set how many panel strings you can connect, the MPPT voltage window, which decides how many panels go in a string, peak and weighted (European/CEC) efficiency, typically 96–98.5% and topology — on-grid, off-grid, hybrid or micro. It is the component that decides what a solar system can do: how much power you can draw at once, whether you can export to the grid, whether the system keeps running in a blackout, and how well the panels and battery are managed day to day.
What to check before ordering
The checks below apply to any inverter. Run them against the specification table above — most disappointing solar purchases are compatible-on-paper units that fail one of these in practice.
- Look at the warranty term and what it covers. Five years is the common baseline, ten is offered by stronger brands, and extensions are often cheaper bought with the unit than later.
- Size the inverter against the loads you need to run simultaneously, not against the total wattage of every appliance in the building — a 5 kW inverter comfortably runs a fridge, fans, lights and a couple of ACs, but not all of them plus a water pump starting at the same time.
- Keep the panel array between roughly 1.0 and 1.3 times the inverter's rating. Slight oversizing (a higher DC-to-AC ratio) captures more energy on cloudy mornings and winter days; going far beyond it wastes generation through clipping.
- Check the surge rating if you run motors — deep-well pumps, compressors and older air conditioners can draw two to three times their running current for a few seconds at start-up.
What people get wrong
- Assuming any grid-tie inverter keeps the lights on during an outage. Standard on-grid units shut down for safety unless they have a dedicated backup or islanding output.
- Overlooking the IP rating. An outdoor installation needs at least IP65; indoor-rated units mounted outside fail early.
- Buying on peak-watt price alone. A cheap inverter with a narrow MPPT window forces awkward string layouts and can strand a portion of the array.
Price and availability in United Kingdom
Fronius Eco Inverters is listed at £ 2,589 (GBP) for United Kingdom. Solar pricing moves with supply, import duties and exchange rates, and distributors set their own margins, so treat this as a comparison reference and confirm the current figure before you order.
SolarBazaar compares equipment rather than selling it. Shortlist here on specification and price, then buy from an authorised distributor or installer in United Kingdom: warranty cover on solar hardware is normally honoured through the channel you bought from, so confirm who supports Fronius locally before ordering.
Fronius Eco Inverters — frequently asked questions
How much does Fronius Eco Inverters cost?
Fronius Eco Inverters is listed at £ 2,589 (GBP) for United Kingdom. The figure is indicative — solar prices move with supply, duties and exchange rates, and each distributor sets its own margin — so confirm the current price with a supplier before ordering.
What are the specifications of Fronius Eco Inverters?
We hold 10 published specifications for this inverter, including MPN 4,210,056,040, power rating 25000W, MPPT trackers 1, phases Three phase and connectivity Ethernet, WiFi. The full table is on this page, listed under model FR-4.210.056.040.
Who makes Fronius Eco Inverters?
Fronius Eco Inverters is a Fronius product, listed under inverters with model reference FR-4.210.056.040. The Fronius brand page lists the rest of its range so you can compare across the catalogue.
Is Fronius Eco Inverters right for my system?
That depends on what it has to connect to. For an inverter, check peak and weighted (European/CEC) efficiency, typically 96–98.5%, topology — on-grid, off-grid, hybrid or micro and continuous AC output in kW, which caps the load you can run at once against the rest of your equipment before price enters the decision. Look at the warranty term and what it covers. Five years is the common baseline, ten is offered by stronger brands, and extensions are often cheaper bought with the unit than later.
Where can I buy Fronius Eco Inverters in United Kingdom?
SolarBazaar lists and compares equipment rather than selling it. Use the specifications and price here to shortlist, then buy through an authorised distributor or installer in United Kingdom — buying in-channel is what keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
