Overview

Introducing SHARK–LBC 650 Wp is a premium rooftop solar panel built with LBC – Loom Solar Back Contact technology, where all electrical connections are placed on the backside of the cell. This design removes front-side metal lines, which allows more sunlight to be absorbed. Its back-contact design gives a clean, premium look and improves power generation by reducing front-side shading. With 650 Wp output and 24.20% efficiency, it delivers more energy in less space this is perfect for modern rooftops and with this rooftops looks premium.

This panel is engineered for strong performance with anti-PID/anti-LeTID protection, low power degradation, and a low temperature coefficient (-0.24%/°C) that keeps energy production high even in hot climates. It also reduces overall LCOE and system cost.

Built for reliability, it is tested for 35 mm ice-ball impact, minimizes micro-crack effects, and handles 5400 Pa snow loads and 2400 Pa wind loads. It comes with a 15-year product warranty and 30-year performance warranty (1% first-year degradation, 0.3% yearly after).

Certified under IEC 61215, IEC 61730, CE, BIS, and ISO, the SHARK–LBC is a stylish, durable, and high-efficiency solar panel ideal for premium residential and commercial rooftops.

Why 650 Watt LOOM BACK CONTACT

* LBC – Loom Solar Back Contact Technology: No front busbars, giving a premium, clean look and higher light absorption for more power.

* High Power Output : Generates up to 650 Wp with 24.20% efficiency for maximum rooftop performance.

* +0–5W Positive Power Tolerance : Ensures stable and reliable energy generation.

* Low Heat Loss: -0.24%/°C temperature coefficient gives better output in hot weather.

* Better Protection: Anti-PID and anti-LeTID technology reduce degradation and increase long-term energy yield.

* Strong Build Quality: Tested for 35 mm ice-ball impact, handles 5400 Pa snow and 2400 Pa wind load.

* Micro-crack Resistance: Designed to minimize micro-crack impact for long life.

* Long Time Warranty: 15-year product warranty + 30-year performance warranty (1% first year, 0.3% yearly after).

* Certified: Certified with IEC 61215, IEC 61730, CE, BIS, ISO standards for quality and safety.

Reading the specifications

Detailed specifications for SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel have not been published yet. Loom Solar lists this solar panel in the Solar Panels, and we add fields as the manufacturer releases them — in the meantime, ask your distributor for the datasheet before ordering.

For a solar panel, the figures that matter most are temperature coefficient of power, usually −0.26 to −0.35 %/°C, first-year and annual degradation, and the performance warranty that guarantees them, physical dimensions and weight, which decide what fits your roof and mounting and open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc) for string design. Panels are the generating half of the system and the part that determines how much energy is available at all. They are also the longest-lived component, routinely still producing over 80% of their original output after 25 years.

What to check before ordering

The checks below apply to any solar panel. Run them against the specification table above — most disappointing solar purchases are compatible-on-paper units that fail one of these in practice.

  • Consider N-type TOPCon or bifacial modules where space is tight or the mounting is elevated and reflective — bifacial gains of 5–15% are realistic over a light-coloured flat roof or the ground, and close to zero flush against a dark tile roof.
  • Keep every panel in a string identical in model and rating. Mismatched modules in one string pull the whole string down to the weakest one.
  • Compare cost per watt rather than price per panel — a higher-wattage module is often cheaper per watt and needs fewer mounting rails, clamps and cable runs.
  • Prefer a lower (closer to zero) temperature coefficient in hot climates. Panels lose output as they heat up, and on a 45 °C roof the difference between −0.34 %/°C and −0.29 %/°C is real energy over a year.

Where buyers lose money

  • Assuming rated power is what you will see. Real-world output at midday is typically 75–85% of the nameplate figure after temperature, soiling, wiring and inverter losses.
  • Underestimating shade. A single shaded cell can suppress an entire string unless you use module-level optimisers or microinverters.
  • Ignoring certification. IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 are the baseline; without them, warranty claims and grid approvals get complicated.

Price and availability

SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel is listed at ₹ 342,550 (INR). Solar pricing moves with supply, import duties and exchange rates, and distributors set their own margins, so treat this as a comparison reference and confirm the current figure before you order.

SolarBazaar compares equipment rather than selling it. Shortlist here on specification and price, then buy from an authorised distributor or installer in your country: warranty cover on solar hardware is normally honoured through the channel you bought from, so confirm who supports Loom Solar locally before ordering.

SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel — frequently asked questions

How much does SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel cost?

SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel is listed at ₹ 342,550 (INR). The figure is indicative — solar prices move with supply, duties and exchange rates, and each distributor sets its own margin — so confirm the current price with a supplier before ordering.

Who makes SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel?

SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel is a Loom Solar product, listed under solar panels with model reference SHARK-650WP LBC Solar Panel. The Loom Solar brand page lists the rest of its range so you can compare across the catalogue.

Is SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel right for my system?

That depends on what it has to connect to. For a solar panel, check open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc) for string design, rated power in watt-peak (Wp) measured at standard test conditions and module efficiency, typically 19–23% on current products against the rest of your equipment before price enters the decision. Check the physical dimensions against your usable roof area before ordering. Modern modules are large, and a layout that works on paper can fail against obstructions, walkways and setback rules.

Where can I buy SHARK-650WP Loom Back Contact Solar Panel?

SolarBazaar lists and compares equipment rather than selling it. Use the specifications and price here to shortlist, then buy through an authorised distributor or installer — buying in-channel is what keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
