Overview

We are introducing our latest lithium deep cycle battery, the iTECH24V100. A massive 100 Amps at 24V of high-performance usable power coupled with the Redback™️ Lithium Operating System which ensures iTechworld's lithium battery range will outperform and outlast all others on the market.

100% of the iTECH24V100's capacity is usable. The internal BMS allows 100A continuous discharge. The iTECH24V100's internal BMS controls cell balancing, over and under-voltage protection, short circuit protection, thermal protection, and over-discharge protection (safe mode).

The iTECH24V100 is equivalent to 200Ah in lead-acid 24V batteries (based on the standard depth of discharge of the iTECH24V100 (100%) and AGM battery (50%).

The iTECH24V100 weighs just 26kg. The equivalent lead-acid battery weighs 120+kg.

The iTECH24V100 deep cycle battery will charge up to 5x faster than a traditional lead-acid battery. The iTECH24V100 can charge from just about all existing chargers with no extensive modifications required to existing systems.

The iTECH24V100 can cycle up to 5000 times at 50% depth of discharge. AGM battery equivalents can cycle up to 500 times at a 50% depth of discharge. iTECH24V100 lithium battery systems have little to no self-discharge rate(≤2%). The battery pack can sit for long periods and will not go flat.

Our lithium batteries are designed and developed in Australia for use with caravans, camper trailers, motor homes, 4WD, boats, yachts, trucks and everything in-between. The iTECH24V100 will operate flawlessly in extreme heat and will handle heavy vibrations usually associated with corrugated roads.

Support

The statutory warranty is 36 months from the date of purchase.

If your Battery Management System (BMS) is activated and the battery shows 0v it has entered into safe mode, to 'wake it up' a compatible lithium battery charger is required such as the iTECHBC20-24.

Storage deep cycle battery only. It is not a cranking battery.

Reading the specifications

Detailed specifications for iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah have not been published yet. iTechworld lists this battery in the Batteries, and we add fields as the manufacturer releases them — in the meantime, ask your distributor for the datasheet before ordering.

For a battery, the figures that matter most are round-trip efficiency, around 90–95% for lithium and 75–85% for lead-acid, communication protocol (CAN or RS485) for talking to the inverter, nominal capacity in ampere-hours (Ah) or kilowatt-hours (kWh) and usable capacity after depth of discharge — LiFePO4 typically allows 80–100%, lead-acid closer to 50%. Storage is what turns a solar array from a daytime bill-reducer into a system that covers evening loads and rides through outages. It is normally the single most expensive component, so sizing it correctly matters more than with any other part.

Choosing a battery: the checks that matter

The checks below apply to any battery. Run them against the specification table above — most disappointing solar purchases are compatible-on-paper units that fail one of these in practice.

  • Leave room to expand. Packs that parallel cleanly let you add capacity later; ones that do not force a full replacement.
  • Compare usable kilowatt-hours, not nameplate capacity. A 100 Ah lead-acid battery at 12 V is nominally 1.2 kWh but only about 0.6 kWh is safely usable, while a 100 Ah LiFePO4 pack gives you roughly 1.0–1.2 kWh.
  • Size from your evening consumption. Add up what actually runs after sunset for the hours you want covered, then divide by the usable capacity per unit — that number, not the array size, sets how many batteries you need.
  • Check the continuous discharge rating against your inverter. A battery that stores plenty of energy but can only deliver 50 A cannot support a large inverter at full output.

What people get wrong

  • Mixing old and new batteries, or different chemistries, in one bank. The weakest unit drags the whole bank down and can be damaged by the others.
  • Sizing the bank for total daily consumption rather than after-dark consumption, which typically doubles the cost for no benefit.
  • Installing lithium packs in an unventilated, hot enclosure. Sustained high temperature is the fastest way to lose cycle life.

Price and availability

iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah is listed at A$ 999 (AUD). Solar pricing moves with supply, import duties and exchange rates, and distributors set their own margins, so treat this as a comparison reference and confirm the current figure before you order.

SolarBazaar compares equipment rather than selling it. Shortlist here on specification and price, then buy from an authorised distributor or installer in your country: warranty cover on solar hardware is normally honoured through the channel you bought from, so confirm who supports iTechworld locally before ordering.

iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah — frequently asked questions

How much does iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah cost?

iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah is listed at A$ 999 (AUD). The figure is indicative — solar prices move with supply, duties and exchange rates, and each distributor sets its own margin — so confirm the current price with a supplier before ordering.

Who makes iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah?

iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah is a iTechworld product, listed under batteries with model reference 24V100. The iTechworld brand page lists the rest of its range so you can compare across the catalogue.

Is iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah right for my system?

That depends on what it has to connect to. For a battery, check system voltage: 12 V, 24 V and 48 V for low-voltage packs, or a high-voltage stack, continuous charge and discharge current, which limits how much power you can draw from the pack and cycle life at a stated depth of discharge, commonly 3,000–6,000 cycles for LiFePO4 against the rest of your equipment before price enters the decision. Read the warranty in full: lithium warranties are stated as a term plus either a cycle count or a total energy throughput, and whichever limit arrives first ends the cover.

Where can I buy iTECH24V100 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | 24V 100Ah?

SolarBazaar lists and compares equipment rather than selling it. Use the specifications and price here to shortlist, then buy through an authorised distributor or installer — buying in-channel is what keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
