Overview
We are introducing our latest lithium battery, the iTECH07. The iTECH7 LiFePO4 lithium battery is the perfect drop-in replacement battery for alarm systems and NBN back up.
100% of the iTECH7's capacity is usable. The internal BMS allows 7A continuous discharge. The iTECH7's internal BMS controls cell balancing, over and under-voltage protection, short circuit protection, thermal protection, and has over-discharge protection (safe mode).
The iTECH7 7Ah Lithium-ion is the equivalent to 14Ah in lead-acid batteries (based on the standard depth of discharge of the iTECH07 (100%) and lead-acid battery (50%).
The iTECH7 weighs just 800g the equivalent lead-acid battery weighs 2+kg.
The iTECH7 will charge up to 5x faster than lead-acid batteries. The iTECH07 can charge from just about all existing chargers with no extensive modifications required to existing systems.
The iTECH7 can cycle up to 5000 times at 50% depth of discharge. A lead-acid equivalent can cycle up to 500 times at a 50% depth of discharge. The iTECH7 has little to no self-discharge rate (≤2%), the battery can sit for long periods and will not go flat.
Designed and developed in Australia for use with alarm systems, NBN back up and other low amperage applications. The iTECH07 will operate flawlessly in extreme heat and will handle heavy vibrations usually associated with corrugated roads.

What these specifications mean
Detailed specifications for iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah have not been published yet. iTechworld lists this battery in the Batteries, and we add fields as the manufacturer releases them — in the meantime, ask your distributor for the datasheet before ordering.
For a battery, the figures that matter most are nominal capacity in ampere-hours (Ah) or kilowatt-hours (kWh), usable capacity after depth of discharge — LiFePO4 typically allows 80–100%, lead-acid closer to 50%, system voltage: 12 V, 24 V and 48 V for low-voltage packs, or a high-voltage stack and continuous charge and discharge current, which limits how much power you can draw from the pack. Storage is what turns a solar array from a daytime bill-reducer into a system that covers evening loads and rides through outages. It is normally the single most expensive component, so sizing it correctly matters more than with any other part.
Before you buy a battery
The checks below apply to any battery. Run them against the specification table above — most disappointing solar purchases are compatible-on-paper units that fail one of these in practice.
- Match voltage to the inverter, and confirm the battery appears on the inverter maker's supported list. Closed-loop communication lets the inverter respect the battery's real charge limits instead of guessing.
- Read the warranty in full: lithium warranties are stated as a term plus either a cycle count or a total energy throughput, and whichever limit arrives first ends the cover.
- Leave room to expand. Packs that parallel cleanly let you add capacity later; ones that do not force a full replacement.
- Compare usable kilowatt-hours, not nameplate capacity. A 100 Ah lead-acid battery at 12 V is nominally 1.2 kWh but only about 0.6 kWh is safely usable, while a 100 Ah LiFePO4 pack gives you roughly 1.0–1.2 kWh.
What people get wrong
- Mixing old and new batteries, or different chemistries, in one bank. The weakest unit drags the whole bank down and can be damaged by the others.
- Sizing the bank for total daily consumption rather than after-dark consumption, which typically doubles the cost for no benefit.
- Installing lithium packs in an unventilated, hot enclosure. Sustained high temperature is the fastest way to lose cycle life.
Price and availability
iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah is listed at A$ 119 (AUD). Solar pricing moves with supply, import duties and exchange rates, and distributors set their own margins, so treat this as a comparison reference and confirm the current figure before you order.
SolarBazaar compares equipment rather than selling it. Shortlist here on specification and price, then buy from an authorised distributor or installer in your country: warranty cover on solar hardware is normally honoured through the channel you bought from, so confirm who supports iTechworld locally before ordering.
iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah — frequently asked questions
How much does iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah cost?
iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah is listed at A$ 119 (AUD). The figure is indicative — solar prices move with supply, duties and exchange rates, and each distributor sets its own margin — so confirm the current price with a supplier before ordering.
Who makes iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah?
iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah is a iTechworld product, listed under batteries with model reference 007. The iTechworld brand page lists the rest of its range so you can compare across the catalogue.
Is iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah right for my system?
That depends on what it has to connect to. For a battery, check usable capacity after depth of discharge — LiFePO4 typically allows 80–100%, lead-acid closer to 50%, system voltage: 12 V, 24 V and 48 V for low-voltage packs, or a high-voltage stack and continuous charge and discharge current, which limits how much power you can draw from the pack against the rest of your equipment before price enters the decision. Check the continuous discharge rating against your inverter. A battery that stores plenty of energy but can only deliver 50 A cannot support a large inverter at full output.
Where can I buy iTECH7 | Deep Cycle Lithium Battery | LiFePO4 7Ah?
SolarBazaar lists and compares equipment rather than selling it. Use the specifications and price here to shortlist, then buy through an authorised distributor or installer — buying in-channel is what keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
