Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has received two Letters of Award for the execution of commercial orders for two EPC projects from a domestic entity.
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has secured two Letters of Award from a domestic customer to construct a pair of ground-mounted solar installations in India. The commercial engineering, procurement, and construction contracts cover capacities of 400 MWac paired with 530 MWp, and 400 MWac paired with 552 MWp.
Combined, the developments total 800 MWac and 1,082 MWp. Project completion is slated for the 2027–28 financial year under the conditions of the awards.
These newly acquired installations bolster Waaree RTL's project pipeline. Previous figures from the firm's investor presentation noted an unexecuted transmission and distribution order book of approximately 2,700 crore rupees alongside a 2,600 crore rupee unexecuted solar and battery energy storage system engineering, procurement, and construction order book.
Earlier contract wins in the company's backlog feature a 450 MWp ground-mounted solar installation secured in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. Additional entries consist of a 420 MWp solar initiative and a 35 MWp solar venture, both obtained in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026.
Further pipeline additions comprise a 14 MWp solar project from the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026 and a 217.5 MWp solar venture from the third quarter of that same fiscal year. Additional smaller bookings include a 39.8 MWp solar undertaking secured in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 and a 29.4 MWp solar layout acquired during the second quarter of fiscal year 2026.
The portfolio also encompasses a 1,520 MWh battery energy storage system engineering, procurement, and construction contract won in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, as well as a 1,000 MWp ground-mounted solar plant secured in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026.
