Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates have established a strategic alliance to enhance clean energy infrastructure, expand green hydrogen initiatives, and deploy renewable power sources. The collaboration was finalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei and Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Togmid Dorjkhand. The partnership focuses on leveraging the UAE's sector expertise to assist Mongolia in diversifying its national energy portfolio, driving capacity building, and facilitating joint project development.
According to Al Mazrouei, the accord underscores the UAE's ambition to broaden its international energy relationships while aligning with Mongolia's specific national objectives. He noted that leveraging Mongolia's natural clean power potential through this joint effort will support long-term economic growth and bolster energy security. Both governments plan to evaluate scalable, practical projects across the renewable energy and green hydrogen landscapes by applying operational strategies previously successful in the UAE.
